We’ve mentioned that we will be attending the upcoming Arts Fair on the Square on June 18, 2011 – as it turns out, however, we will be with sympathetic company, given that Dogtown Artworks will also be have a booth at this event.
Dogtown Artworks is owned by Cindy and Kirby Pringle, and they are obviously dog lovers of the highest order…the Pringles use their own dogs as the models for their photographs.
The husband-and-wife team have worked together as photographers for 20 years. Cindy is an acclaimed photographer and past winner of the prestigious Ernst Haas Award as one of the nation’s top 100 photographers. Her husband, Kirby, is an award-winning journalist and photographer. Their work has been seen on everything from greeting cards to books to billboards — even an independent film. The couple have recently opened a new gallery in Tuscola, IL that features their dog art, along with a photo studio.
